May I perform the sacred āratī before my worshipful deity Śrī Rādhikā and beloved Lāl Jī (Śrī Śyāmasundara), while continually beholding with my eyes the incomparable sweetness of the divine ornaments adorning Their effortlessly beautiful limbs and Their unparalleled beauty.
The ignorant beings remain constantly absorbed in fleeting worldly relationships and accumulating material possessions, yet continually abandon the causeless love of Śrī Śyāmasundara, his one and only true well-wisher. Completely turning away from the supreme spiritual goal, he turns his back upon it and directs his vision, all his endeavors, and the entire pursuit of his life solely toward fulfilling his selfish desires.
Those rasika saints who are deeply immersed in the sweet beauty and nectar of Śrī Śyāmā-Śyāma, dyed in the color of the abundance of supreme love, and who, having renounced all worldly relations and conquered their minds, have become completely detached ascetics.
In that Śrī Vṛndāvana where Śrī Kṛṣṇacandra eternally and blissfully performs His pastimes, and where an uninterrupted flow of tireless, divine love-pastimes ever exists, may my mind always remain deeply attached, like a humming bee hovering over the lotus feet of Śrī Rādhā Mahārānī.
Whose true wealth is the eternal pastimes of Lāḍalī-Lāla and Śrī Dhāma Vṛndāvana—other than the lotus feet of such a Śrī Hita Harivaṁśa Mahāprabhu, whose strength and shelter should I ever seek?
O Lord! You are Dīnabandhu, the friend of the destitute, and I am destitute. This is a beautiful, pre-established bond between You and me; therefore, please do consider this relationship of ours. O merciful Lord! Hearing this earnest petition of mine, please bestow Your grace upon me.
Śrī Rādhā and Śrī Kṛṣṇa are both seated on a swing in the kunja, swinging together. At this time, all the trees and creepers of the forest are laden with blossoms, and dense clouds gathering in the sky are showering a beautiful rain.
The eyes, speech, mind, and ears of a Virahiṇī gopī have all gone to her beloved Śyāmasundara. Within the confines of her body, only a few life-breaths remain, sustained solely by the hope that her Beloved will return one day.
In the secluded groves of Śrī Vṛndāvana, tender new leaves and blossoming flowers adorn every bower, while a cool, gentle, and fragrant threefold breeze blows softly.
You may worship Lord Brahmā, Lord Śaṅkara, or the formless Supreme Brahman according to your faith. But I offer my worship solely to the supremely sacred abode of Śrī Vṛndāvana, which is completely pervaded by the divine bliss and transcendental love of Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
The beloved Śrī Kuñjabihārī, filled with intense yearning, says to Śrī Rādhā, the beloved of His life, "O Pyārījū! What kind of enchanting arrow of attraction have You shot at Me, that this youthful Śyāma, who wanders in the dense nikunjas, has become completely and utterly subservient to You in every way?".
Dayābāī says that the Holy Name of Śrī Hari is the boat that carries one across the ocean of material existence (bhava-sāgara), and the Guru is its helmsman. If one genuinely performs the true association of a saint, then crossing this ocean of worldly existence does not take even a moment of delay.
O beloved Priyā Jī! This auspicious state of Your loving union is completely natural and effortless. May Your joyful union with Your beloved Priyatama remain forever unshakeable; this very happiness is the sole foundation of our life and breath.
Deluded by ignorance, I lay fallen in the deep well of material existence. But my causelessly merciful Śrī Rādhā Jū lifted me out from there with Her gracious arms and placed me under the soothing shelter of Her own abode, Śrī Vṛndāvana.
O soul! Why have you abandoned the chanting of the divine Name of the Lord? You did not renounce your inner anger or the habit of speaking falsehood, yet why did you forsake the path of truth?
Śrī Nārāyaṇa Svāmī teaches, “O jīva! Before looking at the faults of others, first look deeply into your own heart and recognize your own faults. After you have completely purified yourself, if you still find time, then you may concern yourself with others' faults. Truly, one who is sincerely engaged in correcting himself has neither the time nor the right to criticize anyone else.”
Renounce all else and seek only the association of holy saints, for true satsanga alone awakens devotion, spiritual wisdom, and detachment, while leading the soul to uninterrupted love for the Divine Couple, Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa.
Our ever-youthful Laḍalī Jī, Śrī Rādhā, is adorned with ever-fresh beauty at every single moment, eternally enjoying playful Rāsa dance with Śyāmasundara. May the love-bliss of both continue to increase forever with ever-new loving sentiments, and may Your nitya-vihāra always remain overflowing with unfathomable rasa and supreme bliss.
Without devotion, human life is fruitless. Such people constantly quarrel and fight among themselves, just as wild horses ceaselessly clash with one another.
